Set the recess tiles first then the bullnose. Nonetheless you can still tile around a window using traditional techniques meaning that you just install the tiles in a corner without using a plastic trim it would take longer to get the same neat look. For the part up the wall where there isn t tile the trim would have some sort of backing added to increase the depth where it meets the wall.
